Usage of Jurisdiction in US Payroll element setup
I am new to US payroll and need some help.
1 - We have few elements setup to adjust the taxable and tax amounts with couple of them having primary classification of Tax Deduction and a couple of them with primary classification of Employer Taxes. In the element setup, the jurisdiction is set to Federal (Further Information -> Jurisdiction).
2 - We also have a element setup with Primary classification of Tax Deduction having the jurisdiction set to State.
Payroll team is only able to adjust taxable and tax only using elements mentioned in point 1 above.
The payroll team is able to adjust gross, subject whable, subject not whable, pre-tax buckets, pay value (tax) using the element mentioned in point 2 above.
