Redo log sizing and EBS 12.1.3

Hi,

We are using EBS 12.1.3 and Oracle 12.1.0.2

We will be implementing a DR solution using Data Guard and we were looking at our Redo logs requirements for DR.

We usually generate about 120G of archive a day in a normal day,  we usually generate about 20G an hour in the busiest hour .

But during year end we generate about 220G of archive a day and we generate about 30G an hour in the busiest hour .

We ran the advisory and it seem to suggest redo logs of about 1G.

Based on your experience what would be the recommended redo log size for this type of load and using with Data Guard.
