Repeated exercises of upgrading a "live" test database have gone without problems, but I also keep a suite of VM servers running under VBox to do preliminary testing, and am having an issue with one of them.  Obviously it is desirable to keep the database on the vm as nearly identical to its live counterpart as possible, in regards to patches, components, directory structures, etc. but sometimes a difference that was previously un-noticed pops up.

Like I said, the upgrade of the live server goes just fine.  But when I run the same procedure on the vm, I run into a problem.  One of the first things I do after completion of DBUA is to run this query:
