I'm creating a database after deleting the old database using dbca. First I deleted the database with dbca, then I when through the dialog to create a new database. During the creation progress while creating the data dictionary I get two errors.  1. Recovery manager failed to restore the datafiles. 2. ora-03114: not connected to Oracle.

I'm not restoring a database, I'm creating a new databse. I'also not trying to recover a database. Could I be doing something wrong with going through the dbca dialog?
