Siebel iFrame display issue with IE8

Dear experts,

Thank you very much for spending your valuable time in providing inputs for my problem.

Here is the problem I am facing:

I have configured a Symbolic Url in Siebel IP2015 PS 18. This will be displayed inside a view to display an external application using an URL and a signature.

In IE11, the website is displayed properly with the required content. But while I am trying to open the symbolic url using IE8, a blank page is coming.

Can you please let me know if I have to take any special care of symbolic url configuration in IE 8 for Siebel IP15.
