Adding Help Text To Employee Self Service Fields

I would like to find a way to add some help text so to speak for a couple fields in ESS.  Address Line 1 and the Phone Number.

In the below screen shot you can see "US Address Style" under Country.  This is the same type of thing that I want to add to the fields above to help prevent entry errors being we cannot apply a formatting mask.
