Use case for AWR warehouse

Hello expert,

                     Recently we have just setup AWR warehouse for some development database and it is working fine.I was asked what is the use case of AWR warehouse.I know documentation will tell some good technical words like historical analysis etc...but it is very hard to convince my management until I present a use case.One use case I have found like below.Suppose a query which was running previously (may be one month before)  fine now running very slow after database upgrade.Now in that case we can easily get all historical runs running by awrsqlrpti.sql
