APEX application using Universal Theme runs well in Firefox and Chrome however fails in IE and Edge

Dear experts, how are you?

We are facing a strange issue here in our APEX application that we are developing. Here we have APEX 5.1.3 installed in Oracle 11G. The application was created using Universal Theme and we do not have any custom JS in our templates.

The point is that the application runs well when we use Chrome and Firefox, however when we try to use IE 11 or Edge, some stranger things (netflix ads ) happens.

Take a look in the screens:

  • Application Title bar is displayed well in Chrome or Firefox:
  • Application title bar crashes in IE11 or Edge:
  • Modal forms runs well in Chrome or Firefox
