RUN_REPORT_OBJECT 11g 41214, 41217

Hi All,

I have searched this forum for this issue although have not found anything that can solve my issue. Any help would be appriciated.

Just some background, I have decided to use the RUN_REPORT_OBJECT over the 11g web.show_document option as it gives me the ability to save the output of the report locally to a file name I wish and give the user the option to display the report or not display the report (report has to be generated either way). I was not able to find this functionality with web.show_document.

I have tried a number of things like including the full path to the reports file (html), hardcoding the reports server name in and chaging the case of RptSvr_ in the servername, restarting the reports server although I still cannot work it out.
