GL Period Balances for a Account

Hi All,

I queried a Summary Account and then drilled in to one of the Detail Accounts and when looking at Period Balances Strangely there is some  Funds Available  in JAN-17 and then for next few period everything Shows 0 and then suddenly budget shows Negative Amount in OCT-17.

Uploading Screen Shot for your reference. Please let me know how can this happen and how to understand these balances.
