Integrated Extract OS Memory Usage

OGG 12.2.0.1.1

DB:  Oracle 12.1.0.2

OS: Windows 2012 R2

We have Integrated Extract running in the above specified environment.....the extract writes to a local trail and a Pump Extract (Passthru) writes the remote trail.

We noticed that every now and then extract consumes huge about of memory - have seen this go upto 12gb when there is significant lag.  we have seen this impact the database, especially when the nightly batch runs processing bulk load and MV refreshes.

Is there anything we can do to alleviate this problem?  Right now, we are stopping the extract before the nightly batch.

We have not set any of the CACHE parameters.
