Change approval route of existing order

Hi,

Query 1:

We have an existing purchase order at status 220-230 which has current approval code as ABC.

Can we change approval route of this order from ABC to other route so that it can go to other approves for approval.

Query 2:

Also, could you please let us know if we change approval levels for an approval route, will new levels be applicable to existing orders which are undergoing approval.
