JDE E1: Will ASN records be duplicated if next status is not advanced on the sales order?

Client is using ASN Extract and wants to make it a scheduled job. If the processing option on ASN extract is setup to not to advance the sales order status, is there a possibility of duplicate records for the same shipment? Is there any flag that gets updated so the system knows not to write these records again?
