How to Update instance number in Installation Details while creating RMA order

I am trying to create RMA order , along with this i need to update instance number for non-serialized items in Installation details of Sales order screen  before it gets booked .

What is the API to reflect Instance number in Installation details of sales order screen.

Navigation:- Sales order --> lines tab --> actions --> Installation Details .

Can anyone please suggest?
