JDE1 Dist - Is it recommended to have two people at the same level on an Approval Route...or not?

Good merry morning!

I wonder if someone from Oracle JDE team could confirm what the official advice is on this one, please?

I have always thought, and have been telling customers for years, that you should never have two people at the same approval level on an Approval Route.

This is borne out in the following KM doc:

Ref: E1: 43: Approval Processing in EnterpriseOne (Doc ID 2090884.2)

Setup -> Create Approval Routes:

It is not recommended that you have more than one person at an approval limit.

However, a customer set up their route with two people at the same approval limit level, based on the following advice from the 9.2 Implementation Manual:
