PR in foreign currency created into PO in foreign currency

Hi,

We create very often purchase requisitions in foreign currency.

When transforming the purchase requisition into a purchase order, the exchange rate from the purchase requisition is taken over on the purchase order.

This is not always desired as a) the currency fluctuates and b) there is some [substantial] time difference between PR and PO creation.

We use encumbrance accounting.

Is this intended functionality of Oracle R12.1.3?
