Upgrade 11.2 to 12.1 in Windows leaves trash in the registry

Platform:  Windows 2012

Upgrading db from 11.2.0.4.0 SE-One to 12.1.0.2.0 SE-2

After completion of upgrade, subject database is listed in the registry for both the 11.2 home and the 12.1 home.  I would have expected the 11.2 entries to be removed;
