scanner configuration

I have my xstore on Oracle Linux and trying to program bar code for return receipts. I scanned code 93 and other things and when i scan receipts now i see  it prefix E before the receipt bar code.   Any ideas what should be the Prefix i should scan for Zebra scanner ?
