Upgrade from 11.2 to 11.3: zone loses default route?

Did upgrade from 11.2 to 11.3 (11.3.25.3.0).  Only one zone on the host, on net3, was also upgraded.  Zone lost its static route.  Added static route via zonecfg, rebooted, all OK for the zone.  Didn't have to do that when upgrading from 11.1 to 11.2 some time ago (years?).  Guessing it should be standard practice to define the static route for zones via zonecfg...?
