Add parts list Qty after completions?

We have an interesting situation.  A WO was manually created and the parts list does not have any ordered Qty.  Partial completions and WO accounting has already been done.  The problem is that there should still be open Qty on the components driving demand in MRP.  What is the best way to fix this?  Can we manually entered the original ordered Qty on the parts list?
