How to troubleshoot ORA-00054

Hello expert,

                     I am trying to dig out as much as information to help developers for ORA-00054 received from application.Developers run some process and everytime it fails after running 4-5 hours with below error.

ORA-00054: resource
busy and acquire with NOWAIT specified or timeout expired

I turned on systemstate dump using below

ALTER SYSTEM SET events '54 trace name systemstate level 258';

I can see the error and statement failing and PL/SQL call also
