Is P13017 supposed to show the availability of an item in the parts list's branch? or the part's com

I have a parts list attached to an equipment say in branch M30. When I want to see the availability of the parts in that list in P13017, the Quantity on hand is blank. I know I have parts avaialble in the branch written as component branch for that line (M31).

So in P13017 do I only see the availability of the branch of the parts list? shouldn't I see the availability of my component branch?
