Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. R12.1.3 > Making AR Transactions Credit Memo Reason field on ARXTWMAI mandatory

Hi,

We are using R12.1.3, and the ARXTWMAI AR Transactions form is at this version:

I want to make the "Reason" field mandatory, and have followed the advice from this note:

Transactions Form Personalization: How to Make Reason Mandatory in Credit Transactions Form (Doc ID 1164213.1)

The Personalisation has been set up as follows:

When I go to the Credit Memo form, the Reason field is yellow:

But I can click the Save icon without entering any text and this appears in the status bar:
