Auditing - AUDIT_TRAIL=DB,EXTENDED

Hello.  With respect to auditing is setting the AUDIT_TRAIL=DB,EXTENDED an extra cost feature or just part of standard/traditional auditing (not an extra cost feature).  Idea is we want to set set AUDIT_TRAIL=DB,EXTENDED so we can get the SQL_TEXT column populated in the audit tables/views.  Thanks.
