Is it possible to upgrade existing DB home without doing further installation of new home on the ser

Hello experts,

We have requirement of upgrading existing DB home.Lets say 10.2.0.4  and we looking to upgrade to 10205 with latest PSU.

We do not want to change the existing home path due to application issues.

We are looking to upgrade the existing home only with out doing any fresh new installation.

Apart from cloning home methods,Please let me know if any other possibilities.

Is it possible.Please let me know.
