ADRCI purge runs very long for trace files

Hi,

if I try to clear trace files older than e.g. 1000 minutes with ADRCI It runs extrem long, but it deletes tracefiles.

I tried it in the RDBMS diag folder. The folder itself only has occupied 617M.

ADRCI>purge -age 1000 -type TRACE

Env. Oracle Linux UEK 7.4, Oracle 12.2.

No other issues on the system.

I assume that some trace file still are open and locked, but it's Linux and no matter if locked or not. Maybe ADRCI purge check that, but then I would expect a warning.

Any ideas or does have  anybody the same behavior?
