Setting up a new Company in JD Edwards

Hi Mentors,

I need to setup a new company along with existing company for one of my clients. I know this is a finance functional area and i am not an expert to that. But i want to get that done. Having that said, i would appreciate for the following;

  1. Before starting to setup anything up, what questions i need to ask to the client and what information i need to keep handy with me? Any List will be helpful?
  2. Any step by step documentation will be helpful. I do see Oracle documentation with some steps which can help but is there anything else which would be more simple and useful?
