In P90CA500 screen, When sending a email there is a flag button. I cound not figure out what of purpose this flag exacly?

When click the this buttom, Is it creating a activity for all receivers who I am sending a email?

When check this Employee or customer calenders can I see this activity? Or Is it creating a activity for sender?
