Oracle Solution Design MD050 Documents

Greetings

Im currently working with EBS R12 AP and I want to ask to the developers (tech team) for a custom report. I sent them the corresponding MD050 document, but they told me this was a document for Oracle Fusion (Cloud) APPS not for EBS. However I found that Oracle OUM still supports the MD050 as the key basic document for functional design for a custom report.

Is there any other document to ask for a custom report design according to Oracle's Method? MD050 is acceptable/valid for EBS?
