How to Install / Upgrade/ Clone 12.2 Grid Infrastructure in Silent Mode Using gridSetup.sh  ( Document:2327772.1 )

Grid Infrastructure 12.2.x can be Installed or Upgraded or Cloned using gridSetup.sh.

Note:  there is no longer a requirement to use config.sh.

In general the steps include:

1) Customize the sample response file provided in the location: $GRID_HOME/install/response/gridsetup.rsp according to requirements

2) Install or Clone or Upgrade the software in silent mode:

$GRID_HOME/gridSetup.sh -silent -responseFile <Path to the response file>

3) Execute the root scripts to configure the cluster.

Execute root.sh/rootupgrade.sh as prompted from $GRID_HOME
