Mass Update For AR Transactions To Change Receipt Method

It is required to change the receipt method of many open AR Transactions to a different one. Customer is requesting a mass update script  or API to change the receipt method of AR Transactions. Does any one have any workaround for this issue. We have around 10k transaction for which receipt method needs to be updated.
