How to keep PC and AM in synch when using AM recategorization

Hi All: We are running into a situation where our Profile ID chartfield on some assets in Project Costing are no longer in synch with our Profile ID on assets in Asset management. The specific scenario is: an asset is set up in PC and interfaced over to AM. At a later point, our project managers let us know that the asset in question needs to be recategorized. The recategorization process works perfectly in AM. The Profile Id and Asset Category  are updated and depreciation is calculated accurately.
