Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. Hi,

I have a single instance DB which uses +ASM for storage. So, I guess I have to :

1) stop grid infrastructure

2) patch grid home

3) patch oracle home

or

1) stop listener

2) stop db

3) patch oracle home.

The focus is on CPU Oct 2017 (that have 6 security issues on database).
