Update Stocking type of items in F4101, F4102. Also update Line type in Open sales/Pruchase orders

Hi,

We are trying to update the Stocking type of items in both Item master and Item branch plant from S to B.

Also, we want to update Line type in Open sales/Purchase orders from S to B.

Are there any significant implications in doing so? 

What are the downside of this ?

How this can be achieved ?
