Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. lock_sga parameter in AIX

Hello everyone

I would like to know why even

lock_sga parameter is set to false, the database uses large pages in AIX?

I didn´t find any ID.

I understand this parameter is ignored in AIX System, it uses the large pages even though parameter is false.

PS: Oracle 11g.
