JDE 9.2.2.1 Installation Suggestions

Hi Team,

I had a lot of questions posted in the last couple of weeks for the 9.2.2.1 installation related to porttest, sm_agent and and service start issue.

Now I have found that the issue was that I have followed the certifications of 9.2.2.1 release instead of the 9.2.0.0 base release itself with which we will start the installation anyway.

9.2.2.1 supports Oracle DB 12.2 but 9.2.0.0 does not. The same kind of issue was in Weblogic instance for Server manager too.

My question is, if I want to install 9.2.2.1 with all latest DB and Weblogic instances, do I have to go via the releases supported for 9.2.0.0 base release and upgrade the DB and WLS instance later after upgrading the tools for E1 ?
