The "Date of Last Raise" field in Employee Master

Hello,

I'm just looking for some clarity on the Date of Last Raise field found on the Employee Maintenance / Payroll row exit.

I see that the date is updated anytime you change the pay rate in Basis Compensation form or if you process the R059122 Synchronize Employee Master with Union Rates.

The help on this field shows the following:

"Enter the date of the employee's last raise. For the E-mail HR system, this is the date when you update salary and wages. If you also have the Payroll system, this date is automatically updated when a payroll is run. You define pay-effective dates using the Pay Rate Information form."
