APX2027 run via batch from app engine

Has anyone been able to get apx2027 to run via batch from app engine and go directly to shared printer ?

our custom AE will execute apx2027 as it should - but will not hit the printer

when using printer via online process - it will go directly to printer fine - but we need this process to run in BATCH so customers have their advice reports sitting on their printer in the morning from over night batch processing
