ODA X5-2 (ODAVP) : /u01 du shows only 44G used but df shows 83G used and 96% full.

We're having the same issue on ODA x-5.  du shows only 44G used but df shows 83G used and 96% full. We have only 1 ORACLE_HOME.

Here are the things we’ve tried with no resolution:

# Purged all logs older than one day with purgeODALog

perl /opt/utils/purgeODALog -days 1

# Purged patching files in both oracle and grid homes:

opatch util cleanup

These are virtually empty:

1) $GRID_HOME/log/<nodename>/client/gpnp_NNNNN.log

2) $GRID_HOME/log/diag/asmcmd/user_grid/<nodename>/alert/alert.log

3) $ORACLE_BASE/diag/clients/user_grid/host_NNNNNN_NN/trace/ora_NNNNN_NNNNNNNNNNN.tr*

#df shows /u01 using 83G and 96% full:
