Migrate an Oracle RAC database to new servers with zero downtime

Hi,

We have an Oracle RAC 12cR1 server migration project on Red Hat Linux 64bit composed of two nodes, our strategy is to add two new servers on the same operating system version with newer hardware and remove the old servers, we will use the add node option and delete node of CRS, our strategy is as follows:

Current environment:

Servers: node1 and node 2

Proposal:

1 - Remove the old node 1 server;

2 - Add a new server with new hardware called node1

3 - Add the new instances of this new node 1 server creating the threads;

4 - Remove the old node 2 server;
