Not able to delete or end date party relationship in R12.1.3

Hi All,

We have R12.1.3, a party has multiple parents (Parent Of) relationship.

Both the relationships are active(no end date) with different start dates.

We have tried the following:

1> End date one of the relationship (the one with earliest start date)

2> Delete the earliest relationship using the "Remove" icon.

Both the times oracle is throwing the below error:

Multiple parents are not permitted for the Credit_Mgmt relationship type. Please use a different relationship type.

I found a document Doc ID 744988.1 with similar issue , but the solution is not working for us.
