ASM disk addition best practise

We have Oracle database running on 2 node RAC with ASM. (ASM, RAC, DB all are in 11gr2 version).

We almost ate our ASM storage in primary DB, and currently we have only 120 GB of free space remaining out of 4 TB.

In our existing setup (primary), we have 15 disks in DATA diskgroup, each having 260 GB of size.

Our standby server is also having ASM configured and in standby ASM we have a large amount of free space (1.8TB of disk chunk in FRA).

We want to drop that disk from diskgroup in standby and want to map that in our primary database. Our storage team is checking the feasibility.
