JE with VAT and non VAT

Hi

Journal Entries with VAT(P09106) application can be used to enter normal journal entries without VAT ? just like normal Journal Entry application P0911

Becasue the customer wants to use JE with VAT p09106 application for non vat entries

Is their any effect on other tables or background, please advise
