DBMS_METADATA.GET_DDL('JAVA_SOURCE'...) returns "\\uFEFF"?!

Hi, my java source has the unicode string "\uFEFF", but DBMS_METADATA.GET_DDL('JAVA_SOURCE'...) returns "\\uFEFF"?! Why?
