Change root password on oda dom0 x-5

Greetings,

We’re wanting to change the root password on an ODA x-5 dom0 (NOT on the vm guest, but dom0).  We’ve reviewed doc Doc ID 2149196.1, but this is for the vm guest.   Is it ok to just use the normal passwd utility to change root’s password on dom0? Thanks!
