Substitution variables are not visible in local EAS

Starting from one day, all my substitution variables fell off from my local client installed EAS in my laptop. But if I remote connect to ESSBASE server, and run server client installed EAS, substitution variables are all there.

I have tried to uninstall and install EAS several times in my laptop, I cannot make the substitution variables to show up.

Any ideas what's wrong, and how to make visible to those s-variables?
