12.2.0 asmca - not allowing me to configure acfs volumes

edited Jan 4, 2018 4:02AM in Database - RAC/Scalability (MOSC) 2 commentsAnswered

I have a fresh install of 12.2 RAC Grid Infrastructure on 2 nodes on RHEL7, no datbase instance/software installed yet.

I want to use a couple of my ASM disks in an acfs volume which I want mounted across the cluster.

In earlier releases this could be done with asmca. The docs indicate this is still the case  yet all I see is 'Disk Groups' options. Nothing anywhere about volumes or filesystems. I've tried configuring the sudo options but that hasn't helped. Any ideas what is going on here? The functionality is clearly being masked from me for some reason. I'm running asmca as the grid user with environment set to its grid_home etc..

Howdy, Stranger!
