Terminate an Active Groovy Script

How do I terminate a running groovy script?  We've already deleted the Event Handler followed by restarting the application/weblogic.  Nonetheless, in the event handler monitor I still have about 10 scripts that say they're running, some going back 4 weeks now.  They're eating up CPU.  Does anyone else know of any additional steps to try?
