Dafault Tax Rate / area based on Items

Hello,

We have a requirement wherein the Tax rate (VAT) is based on the Items that are being procured / sold and also based on the place of supply. so, for e.g.:- the same item sold locally will attract a tax of X% while is sold outside the country will have a tax rate of Y%.

I understand that JDE has a functionality to define / default a Tax rate / area based on an item / group of items by using the Sales / taxable field in the item Branch. However, this as I understand will only work if we have a scenario wherein we need to use the same Tax rate/ area with an exception for some items (which are levied at a concessional rate). The scenario that we have is where the same item being taxed at a different rate depending on the place of supply.
