Kit Component lines populating on non-kit items when using Credit Memo from P42101

I am on JDE One World version 9.2 and applications version 9.2.0.3.  We are also on the web only tools release version 9.2.0.6.  I have an issue when using credit memo to pull in kit and non-kit items using P42101.  My issue is that the kit component populates correctly under the kit item, but also attaches under some other non-kit item such as the freight line.  The component is a sub number of the Freight line (e.g. Line 3 and 3.010).  I looked at bug 25204229 but that speaks of duplicated component lines and quantity changes.  I have not experienced quantity changes.  I don't think this is the same as my bug, but maybe there are variations of this bug?  Any thoughts?
